Pretty much a piece of the furniture at Liberté, Beverage director & FOH manager Keryn Giles has been there from the beginning. Helping chef-owner Amy Hamilton open the little business and shape it into the beautiful creature it is today. After years of travel, a solid stint on a cruise boat in the Kimberley and a world of restaurant experience under her belt- Keryn decided to return to Albany... and try her hand behind a bar. A completely self taught bartender, this is where you will find her now most days- shaking tins and cracking smiles.
Liberté has spent the last few years kicking goals, this year in particular earning a double nod as Gourmet Travellers 2018 Bar of the Year as well as the 2018 Bar of the Year for the Sunday Times Magazine.
And with the beautiful scenery and produce of the Great Southern around- there is nowhere else she would rather be.
