Chris was born in Reading, England in 1985.
In his early years, he left university and pursued a career as a chef, working in a local bistro for a year before moving to a small country gastropub.
Chris then worked in a Michelin star hotel in Ascot before working in London, where he reached the position of sous chef and later opened the Red Lion with owner Andrew Hill.
Arriving to Australia in 2014, Chris worked his way up to head chef in November that year, under Scott Brannigan.
In 2020 he moved to and opened Coogee Common in February that year before closing and reopening due to Covid-19.
