The Flour Factory
Charlie grew up in one of the biggest food capitals in the world, New York. He started like many chefs as a dish washer helping out with prep where needed, scrubbing vegetables and pots alike. A few weeks in and he was hooked by the passion and creativity each day brought.
It's been 23 years since then and he has travelled through many different kitchens, countries, and cuisines but never has he lost that love for what kitchens bring.
Charlie prides himself on using good techniques to showcase amazing WA flavours and produce in an accessible way that everyone can enjoy.
Charlie is now Head Chef at The Flour Factory in the Perth CBD, an inner-city public house across three floors of a historic 100-year-old flour mill. The Flour Factory fuses together colourful modern Australian cuisine, using only the finest of fresh local WA produce with a little European twist.
