She is supported by a visionary Board and fantastic Chamber team to deliver on its 5-year strategy. All about building productive connections, the business community, and it’s voice in the region.

Those who know Benita will be aware that she has had a career of more than 25 years in leadership positions including community organisations, private sector, State and Federal Governments and overseas volunteering. Coming from a migrant family whose roots are in Italy, Portugal and France, Benita has three adult children, 1 grandchild, and a family that includes 11 siblings. She and her partner are part of a growing company that works across 5 countries. Damian and his son have an extended family that include his own 8 siblings.

Benita will tell you this large family has been a strong foundation for her. She says they are the reason she values community in the economy, diverse networks, empathy in relationships and bravery in overcoming challenges.
